Old Korean Legation Private Tour

The Old Korean Legation is a historic home located on Logan Circle. Between 1889 and 1905, it served as the the hub for Korean diplomatic ventures. Following the Japanese take over of the Korean government, the legation was sold to private owners. In 2012, the South Korean government was able to repurchase the building, and they spent years restoring it to the late 1800s period when it served as the legation, with period wallpaper, furniture, and carpets being installed. Looking at it reminds me of the set of the show The Gilded Age.

Our tour will begin promptly at 11:00 AM, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can begin on time. Afterwards, those who are interested can grab coffee on 14th Street.
