Nature Walk at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens

Join Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens and the Not Bored in DC community as we explore the beauty of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. As both the country’s only national park devoted to aquatic plants and the city’s largest remaining wetlands, Kenilworth is a hidden oasis in the city.

Come get in some movement during this mindful nature walk where we will focus on appreciating all that is around us.

We will meet at the visitor’s center around 8:45 AM for check in, and begin the walk promptly at 9:00 AM.

The trails are flat, with some gravel, dirt/grass, and plank paths. Depending on the weather, there may be some mud and/or it may be hot, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
